Euromat Conferences have been held in Aachen, Germany (1989), Cambridge, England
(1991), Paris, France (1993), Padua, Italy (1995), Maastricht, NL (1997), Munich,
Germany (1999), Rimini, Italy (2001), Lausanne,
Switzerland (2003), Prague, Czech
Republic (2005) and Nuremberg,
Germany (2007).
Euromat
2009 will be held 6 - 10 September
2009 in Glasgow, Scotland.

In addition, Topical Euromat Conferences were
held in Genua, Italy (1992), Balatonszéplak, Hungary (1994), Bournemouth,
UK (1996), Maastricht, NL (1997), Munich, Germany (1999), and London, UK (2002).
Junior Euromat conferences
take place every two years, providing young materials scientists with the opportunity
to contribute both scientifically and to the organisation and structure of their
conference in functions such as session chairperson or workshop coordinator.
The conferences are usually held in Lausanne, Switzerland, in July - September
and have been organised so far in 1992, 1994, 1996, 1998 and 2000, 2002, 2004
and 2006.
