On 12 March, the Department of Materials Engineering and Ceramics (DEMAC) at the University of Aveiro hosted a successful event celebrating the International Day of Ceramics, bringing together students, researchers, and representatives from the ceramics sector.
The initiative was organised by SPM members InĂȘs Vilarinho, JosĂ© Carlos Almeida (President of the Portuguese Society of Ceramics and Glass), JoĂŁo Lopes Miranda, and Camila Ribeiro, all affiliated with CICECO â Aveiro Institute of Materials and SPM members, in collaboration with CADâCICECO and the Materials Studentsâ Group of the Academic Association of the University of Aveiro (AAUAv).
