The Executive Board of the MRS-Serbia is proud to announce the competition for the Award for a Lasting and Outstanding Contribution to Materials Science and Engineering for 2018.

The Award for a Lasting and Outstanding Contribution to Materials Science and Engineering is awarded by the Materials Research Society of Serbia to the most distinguished scientists for their overall scientific achievements which have contributed significantly to the advancement of this areas of science, the enhancement of university teaching, education of young scientists and upholding the reputation of the Materials Research Society of Serbia. Eligible candidates for the award include scientists from the territory of the former Yugoslavia, as well as scientists of Serbian origin worldwide, involved in research in the area of materials. The award is given to an individual. It was introduced in 2015. Previous laureates are Prof. Dr. Ivan Bozovic (2015), Prof. Dr. Gordana Vunjak-Novaković (2016), and Prof. Dr. Velimir Radmilović (2017). Read more
