The 3rd International Conference on Light Materials – Science and Technology (LightMAT 2019) gives a comprehensive overview and new insight into the three most important light metals Aluminium, Magnesium and Titanium and their combinations.
LightMAT 2019 gives a deep insight into the fundamentals and the specific requirements that apply to each of the three lightweight materials. The materials are viewed individually or in combination in multi-material designs, including the aspects of processing, joining and corrosion protection. In addition, LightMAT 2019 will focus on the advances in formability and novel forming technologies enabling light alloys to be shaped into complex components.Read more
Micro and Nano Engineering (MNE) is the core international conference focusing on: A) micro/ nanofabrication and manufacturing techniques, and B) application of the fabricated micro/nanostructures, devices and microsystems into electronics, photonics, energy, environment, chemistry and life sciences. This will be the 45th Conference in a series that started in Cambridge in 1975, and was held most recently in Vienna (2016), Braga (2017) and Copenhagen (2018). Read more
The 10th International Charles Parsons Turbine and Generator Conference will focus on the challenge of turbines operating under novel conditions, looking the interactions between environmental degradation mechanisms and mechanical interactions, in both gas and steam turbine applications.Read more
The 18th ECASIA will be held from 15th to 20th September 2019 in Dresden, Germany - also called the “Florence of the North”.
The ECASIA’19 conference will be organized in Dresden initiated by the Institute of Solid State and Materials Research (IFW Dresden) in cooperation with the Technical University Dresden (TUD) and other academic and industrial partners of the region. We hope to continue the conference series in the “spirit of ECASIA” to bring together scientists from universities, industry and instrument suppliers, to bridge the gap between fundamental and applied research in surface science and to follow new trends in instrumentation.Read more
