FEMS LAUNCHES ONLINE JOURNAL AT EUROMAT 2019

The Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS) and Taylor & Francis are pleased to announce the launch of a new open-access journal, European Journal of Materials (working title). EJM will publish high-quality research across the entire discipline of materials technology.

The journal was officially launched at EUROMAT 2019 in Stockholm, Sweden on 4 September 2019.

Professor Paloma Fernandez-Sanchez, President of FEMS, commented: 'FEMS is very excited for this new initiative. We look forward to receiving your articles and hope that this new journal in the field of Materials will enhance FEMS’s presence'.

Taylor & Francis’ Global Portfolio Director for Physical Sciences and Engineering, Richard Delahunty, added:

“We are very excited about a publishing partnership with FEMS in publishing European Journal of Materials. Given the growth of research in Materials Science and Technology we feel there is a great opportunity for an Open Access outlet backed by a highly prestigious Federation, containing a diverse range of world class materials science organisations. Materials research has never been so important – it’s a fast moving and innovative field and a key growth area at Taylor & Francis. We warmly welcome FEMS into the Taylor & Francis fold.”

European Journal of Materials will begin publication later this year.
